Darrell Lea Real Twists Launch
Live Events

The Opportunity

Darrell Lea, an Australian candy company, was launching their Real Twists stateside.  BDM was tasked with expanding market share and growing distribution and preference via experiential interactions at retailers, lifestyle events, and through guerilla mass sampling.

The Experience

BDM created an entertaining space for event attendees to learn about Darrell Lea, instantly try the new Real Twists product, and have some fun with us.  Our branded experience included a custom-built, modular footprint with sampling on one side and a unique photo opportunity on the other.  We educated & engaged hundreds of thousands of consumers, incited instant trial, and drove purchase in-store as well as online.

SUPERVALU EXPO SHAVE STATIONS

Our mission at the Supervalu National Expo was to make a big impact, and drive traffic to the P&G booth. BDM built a custom Gillette Shave Station, hired a professional Barber, and filled the walls with nostalgic cues and signage reminiscent of a vintage Barber Shop. This experience created a ton of buzz!

BLUE BUNNY “TASK BUNNY” ACTIVATION

In partnership with FCB-X, BDM helped activate their #GiveInToThe Bunny campaign. Leveraging Blue Bunny’s partnership with TaskRabbit, we enabled consumers to “give into the fun while we got it done”. The concept of the experiences were simple: we used elements related to certain mundane adult tasks (doing laundry, going grocery shopping, etc) but turned them into a fun, light-hearted, visually stunning Instagram opportunity.

NFL SCALE TAILGATE

To enhance P&G’s Quarterly Scale Offering and help increase store-level support at retail and military bases, BDM developed an NFL Tailgate program that featured brand education and engagement and drove case and display sell-in at door level. Tailgate events included a variety of interactive activities, product sampling, and a space just for kids. The main activity was an oversized P&G branded game board for a chance to win NFL-branded prizes.
